Depends on which version of volumecontrol you have. I suppose somewhere along the lines they'd upgrade the code. How about re-inserting the image into the new one and signing it? tsowen could help ya with that in a jiffy. pending availability of course...

how exactly do i install these? i unpack the .rar and it has all everything all clumped in one directory...and the readme isn't exactly informative. thanks in advance!

*edit - i'm referring to the game packs btw.

drop the folder that is in the .zip/.rar file in the OEM folder of your kitchen. when you run buildos make sure to check the items you want (if they aren't already checked) and then press play. this will cook the app/files into your ROM

The readme isn't informative because those looking for OEM's know what they are and how to install them. Usually for cooking into a rom, they can also be installed using nuepackageinstaller. Search for that...

could you do the BLue one?

i tried to use OEMIZER to import the cab, and when i flash i get a boot hv user hv error due to the taskmanager and enlargestartmenu lines among a few others ( i think)

edit: Looked at it again... Probably duplicates, all the .cab really does is replace graphic files in manila, and replaces some commmanager graphics. It sets the colors for a .tsk theme, but fails to install the theme files. So do what you need to do to manage those duplicate files, that's probably what's holding you back.

sorry man, haha.

a get a window that pops up that says buildos.exe error. i jsut took the manila files out of it + the other files and placed them in the correct folder. but i didnt even look at the log, sorry.

but just putting the files in there didnt change the task menu or the start menu colors.

side note. if i was putting some reg edits into OEMizer would this be correct?

"BatteryIconLevels"=dword:00000065

and

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction \CDMA]
"SignalStrengthLevel"=dword:5"

to go from 7 to 5 level bar?

You'll need to follow my tutorial on creating Today Themes OEM's to get the files your needing to do that. In this they included the registry changes, but not the actual files needed by windows...Not in the original .cab...

The first one is right,

Is so you can the skinny bars. Your selection of 5 would be thicker bars. You do have an extra quote after the your 5... This edit is purely for the user interface and does nothing to improve your actual signal btw...
