I tried dropping in OEM_TodayTheme_HTC_Black to my kitchen, since the .tsk is one of the only things i always have to set myself after a flash. It didnt do anything though...

-my kitchen is the one thats linked in rstoyguy's "how to customize a custom rom" tutorial. (i think it might be made by dogguy, not sure though)
-cooking with 6.1

Did you use the OEM Package creator to generate the OEM or did you do this manually? The reason I ask is that I would like to make an OEM of the final build (6411).

Also, I didn't see where in the initflashfiles where to store my registered program information if I wanted to do so. The end goal is to be able to flash a rom with MS3.0 and have it be registered all in one go. Then I can simply use the import feature to bring back my settings.

You need to delete the file somewhere is the ..\SYS ... mxipcold_wpc_2.provxml file that overwrites the settings back to boring green. :)

Directory name says v2_0_0_6411, but it's v3.0.0.6411...

here is an oem that was provided to me by i dont remember who. (i think it was resseboy) and it includes the previous version of titaniumweather and the opera panel. maybe it can help you.

I haven't played with 6.5 at all yet, I can probably use that as a guide and see what I can do. I'll look into it over the next couple of days. Yesterday I saw my touch pro roms are a little FUBAR'd, so I gotta give them some love too...

I was also wondering how making a OEM for a taskbar works?
The way I get the taskbar I want is a major pain, first I install the taskbar cab, then I install the CDMI_RSSI_PPC.dll, then I have a cab that adds in a revA icon that I install.
See what I mean?

Here are the OEM's.

OEM_CapSure_1_11a_ARM ............................. CapSure v1.11a Screen Capture

OEM_tsowentaskbar6v3_1_revA ...................... tsowenTaskBar v6.3 w/custom RevA and CDMI_RSSI_PPC.dll files

For the taskbar OEM, you just need the OEM I posted above as a "base". The "magic" is in the RGU, basically sdk_certs's registry entries. Then it depends on what kitchen you use and properly managing the duplicates. I keep one OEM where I copy all the originals to and call it Taskbar_stock. Then once those are deleted, I'll take the new OEM and use that as a base for any others I create. So that way I can just copy new files in there and I don't have to worry about any missing ones.

And for other requests, I'll get to them. I've been extremely busy of late...

Package creator is mostly what I use, but oemizer does a few things better... so I kinda use both but mostly Ervius.

Yep... just started using it first and it seems easier to me. There is no reason not to use oemizer, that I can think of, if you like it better.

I usually use Ervius's for most oem's. I usually only fire up oemizer when I have several files I need to rename or use it to create the initflashfiles.txt file for skins. Like weather panel skins with it's several hundred files needed and multiple directories.
