little help w/build rom + youtube/iexplore

Hey,

I wanted to try building my own roms so I grabbed the newest kitchen etc. So far everything is great EXCEPT I'm having trouble building youtube into my rom. I've stripped basically everything else and tried installing youtube from a cab I found on these forums. That gave me the unsigned/component not found error so I figured I should grab the streaming media cab which I also found on this forum, same error. I tried building a rom and ripping out all the crap I didn't want but leaving youtube and was still getting the unsigned/missing component. Is there something else I need to leave in the rom besides youtube + streaming media to have youtube.exe work?

I was also wondering as far as stuff like PIE goes can I just go into \sys and remove that crap since there are no options to remove it with buildOS/Carbon kitchen?

youre using the newest system right? the problem is with the newest build. pocoROM's v1.0 was using it and i kept getting the same error for about 80% of the programs. he reverted back to the stock sys build and i havent had any problems with it

Trial and Error, take one thing out, if it still works, then take another, if it doesn't, makes sure you leave that thing in!

I believe you need fullscreen player at least.... and it's C4RBON.

This is also a question regarding our kitchen specifically, and should have been posted in the kitchen thread

Actually, I was'nt using the TCGF kitchen at all. The sys I was using was ported from a TP rom, and it had issues.

I use a modified version of DogGuy's kitchen.
