+1 on the cooking, but it is a little daunting for someone new to custom ROMs to just jump into it.

So +1 more on trying out all the ROMs and deciding for yourself.

There are a few of us out here. Sometimes you can tell by the postings. I had both of you figured out, but I hadn't added an avatar yet...so you would never know

I chat with people about being out here and flashing and ROM's and I get the deer in the headlight look...

You are further ahead of me...I have not gotten brave enough to cook my own ROM yet. I bricked a phone two weeks ago by installing a ROM (un-named) and then installed the Sprint DCD cab. It changed my MLS and no one could get it back...got a new phone out of the deal.
