I also figured out how to turn the zoom button off on Opera so I don't need help with that anymore. I even figured out how to easily change builds of Opera without having to do any cab install so I rolled back to a more stable version that doesn't have some of the bugs of the build in the ROM.

Anybody else have a problem with their Diamond freezing up for about 5-15 seconds every so often?

Sure ... happens to me when I am browsing with Opera, and I get a little ahead of the processor or the download speed. I know that patience is a virtue, but definitely not my long suit ...

Does anybody else have a problem with your diamond freezing for a few seconds every so often? im about to reflash to see if that corrects it.

I've been using OMJ's ROM for about a month. After a while, like most ROMs, I start to encounter some lag and sluggishness and that's immediately cleared by a soft reset. It usually takes several hours or even days of use before I reach this point though.

I've also found that the app CleanRam can sometimes stop the need for even a reset, at least for a while.

Hmm. Mine isn't solved by a soft reset.

I think I might flash back to a Sprint ROM and run it for a few days and see what happens. If the problem goes away I'll go back to OMJs ROM and see if it returns. Hopefully it just goes away completely.

That's a good idea, but you won't need to run it for a few days ... just re-flash back afterwards. I recently did that just to clear up a few things. I have to warn you ... the stock rom will drive you crazy, after using a custom rom ... so slow and tedious. Good luck ...
