installed clean rom with custom icons. now phone keypad won't work in sms or any app. any ideas what i should do? i hate typing with the stylus...

Hey guys real noob here. Hoping someone can help. I tried searching and couldn't find the answer. I flashed OMJ's custom theme and icon,s ROM and really like it but I have lost the voice dialing function and would like to have it back. When I hold down on the phone icon to activate the mic the screen rotates 90 degrees and does nothing. Do I need to go to a stock ROM or a clean ROM. btw what is a "clean" ROM. Hope everything is working out for OMJ and appreciate all the work it must take to do this.

Go into StartMenu-Settings-Personal-Buttons and set SendKey(Hold) to voicecommand. That will set it to what you want... And I think if you read the first post, it will tell you what is in the clean version...

Hey omj, or anyone that can help. I love this rom thanks for sharing it with us. One thing that I think would be a nice add, is that the progress bar in opera is grey. Is there a cab to color it so it's more noticable? Another thing is I have the white clock with black numbers, but the AM/PM are also white and don't show up. Can we make them black also? That would be a nice touch. Thanks in advance...

I have been having some SERIOUS bluetooth issues the last week or so. My bluetooth will shut off randomly and when it pairs with my car there is now a 10-30 second delay from when my car takes a voice command and when it actually starts a call. There is also a huge delay when pressing buttons on my car's handsfree system before it does anything to the phone. This doesn't happen at all with 2 other phones and didn't happen for the first month with OMJ's 2.00 ROM. I reflashed to 2.00v2 and I'm getting the same problem. Any ideas?

On another note, is there any way to get rid of the scrollable zoom icon on Opera in the v2 ROM? It wasn't in the v1 2.00 ROM and I hate it as it does the exact same thing I can do with the d-pad scroll and takes up valuable space on the screen.

akates. I was playing with my bluetooth headset and found a setting in advanced configuration program. In there click on bluetooth, look for Audio gateway power save: Click on it select disable. (worked for me)

I tried that and it didn't make a difference. It's still randomly turning off my bluetooth and there is still a huge delay about half the time I try making a call with bluetooth. I may try flashing back to stock to see if that fixes it.

I also figured out how to turn the zoom button off on Opera so I don't need help with that anymore. I even figured out how to easily change builds of Opera without having to do any cab install so I rolled back to a more stable version that doesn't have some of the bugs of the build in the ROM.

Sure ... happens to me when I am browsing with Opera, and I get a little ahead of the processor or the download speed. I know that patience is a virtue, but definitely not my long suit ...

1st off my condolences go out to u and ur family... I was wondering if someone can help me that is using omj's rom using the voice command. Is there a way to activate it or to reinstall it i have the msvc cab and the installation fails.Just wondering if theres a fix? Thanks.

I've been using OMJ's ROM for about a month. After a while, like most ROMs, I start to encounter some lag and sluggishness and that's immediately cleared by a soft reset. It usually takes several hours or even days of use before I reach this point though.

I've also found that the app CleanRam can sometimes stop the need for even a reset, at least for a while.

Hmm. Mine isn't solved by a soft reset.

I think I might flash back to a Sprint ROM and run it for a few days and see what happens. If the problem goes away I'll go back to OMJs ROM and see if it returns. Hopefully it just goes away completely.

That's a good idea, but you won't need to run it for a few days ... just re-flash back afterwards. I recently did that just to clear up a few things. I have to warn you ... the stock rom will drive you crazy, after using a custom rom ... so slow and tedious. Good luck ...

Just flashed "OMJ.2.00.Sprint.Clean" and I am loving it so far. One question though; is the tethering fix built into this ROM? My connection when using Internet Sharing program still says 'Phone As Modem'.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is there not a drop down menu with Sprint as an option? I used OMJ's roms for quite a while, and I'm sure that they included the tethering fix ...

Where it lists "phone as modem", there should be another choice ... if not, let me know and I'll send the registry entries.

When I connect using Internet Sharing, then press the "EV" icon, it says "Connected>Phone As Modem". When I used the Internet Sharing fix in other ROMs, it says "Connected>Sprint"
Maybe not a problem, but I don't want a surprise Sprint bill!

The ICS fix is noted in the change log, so you should be ok ... however, here are the reg edits.

OMJ thanks for the Rom and it works great. but i have a question. did anyone of u have any problems with bluetooth. since i did the upgrade i am having problem receiving files via bluetooth. no body can send me any files. it says failed to connect on their device everytime someone tries to send me anything. but my headset and everything is working fine. just file trasnfer. anyone got any solution for this.

Does anyone know how OMJ got the "-BlueTooth & Wifi togglers to start menu"? I searched through the windows directory and cannot find the exe to toggle either of these..

Any help?

OMJ sprint custom v2!!! I just flashed today, and now I'm kinda sqrewed because I like this so much, Kills my tinkering.... so anyway really like this alot!!! Would really like to be walked through how to do some of this. I'll keep reading for now but thanks bro...

Report: Battery issue on display only 90 charged and on the email when you go to menu/veiw- the icon next to the larger\smaller is unaligned...can I fix any of this without a kitchen, or is this all you for the fix? Still, I am all over this RoM, I really like it, Thanks again...

I've convinced my wife to stop using her Centro and start using the diamond that I have.. since I moved to Touch Pro...

And OMJ's is the fiorst ROM I am gonna give her as it is 'The Most Stable' ROM ever.. miss you on TP OMJ...

I have downloaded "OMJ.1.09.Sprint.Custom.SEv2.rar" but how to install it on my HTC diamond.

Will it delete anything from my mobile ... contacts, emails etc. Sould I take the backup before installing it ?

Please suggest me complete procedure, m excited to know....

You need to read the sticky on unlocking, etc. at the beginning of this upgrade forum. Basically you unlock your phone, download and upzip the rom, flash via usb cable. This procedure will erase your contacts, emails, messages, everything that is on the phone ... so be sure to back up anything important. OMJ's roms are excellent, but make sure you read, read, read, and follow directions closely. Good luck ...

I love this ROM but my device memory is always out of capacity, and there doesn't to be much that I can delete. Any ideas????
