MSR 2.4 + My Theme

Loving MSR 2.4!!!!

I've collected a variety of manilla files and other tweaks that I directly load into the \Windows directory via Resco File Explorer (or the like) after I flash the ROM.

I do this because I dislike having all those installation CABs for many individual tweaks showing up in my Uninstall Programs listing.

Included are Mun's background tweak (across all tabs), transparent title bar (but not bottom bar), Sprint Neon icons, a purple highlight bar, and special colored icons in the task bar. Holy's semi-transparent clock.

I have a dark background for the dialer. Pressing the button results in a white transparent box around the number.

Also included are my special "Nokia-style" replacement fonts. (If you don't want these, simply don't copy the four TTF files from this ZIP into the \Windows directory on the device.) Although ClearType is turned on my device, the screen captures do not do the font replacements justice. I find it so much easier to read than the standard Helvetica+Tahoma.

Two interesting backgrounds are included too. I'm using the Gears one.

Apologies for not giving full credit to all those whose files I'm using. I simply didn't keep track.

Installation Instructions:

1) Install the sdkcerts.cab file (allows the replacement icons in the task bar)

2) Modify your registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\security\ResOver\Bitmaps]
"BatteryIconLevels"=dword:65
"BatteryIconIdStart"=dword:3e9
"BaseDll"="phcanOverbmp.dll"
"BaseId"=dword:0

3) Copy all files from windows subdirectory in zip file to your \Windows directory using Resco Explorer or the like. Answer yes to the overwrite file in ROM warning. (kind of a pain) If you use Sashimi to automatically copy files over, you won't have this inconvenience.

4) Soft reset

5) Enjoy!

Cheers,
Bill
