youtube works on 21815..its just that grey color background that's messed up

Not sure. You might look in Indagroove's thread. I'm pretty sure he's fixed it in his sys. It was caused by using some older file somewhere, though I didn't pay that much attention when I read it...so I don't remember specifics.

I'm having this too. Using the 'Merdinh Black Diamond-Touch Pro EzInput 1.0' SIP.

Also, the ongoing problem with the Photos/Videos tab not showing any photos is still happening with me. Not sure why it's doing that since the stock Telus ROM displays the pictures I have.

I switched themes from Ultralite to HTC Black and it fixed itself...

I would bet that another program is conflicting with it. Try cooking a rom with only the bare minium and see if youtube works. Then add a few things at a time until you figure out whats causing it.
