Juggs no rush but any insite as to whats changed/different/added here or what base its on. just curious because im using Juicy's 4.0 but its just too buggy/lot of freezes right now prob because of the 20764 he used ("bleeding edge") and i have to reflash to something more stable.

you guys have a choice, i can move to the faster 19972 sys or keep the 20xxx sys... i will be adding flip it and a bunch of minor fixes.

ive used both 19972 and 19974 and i think theyre equally as fast as 20xxx with less bugs. Also get to keep multiselect. i dont see a real disadvantage to using 19972 vs 20xxx unless anyone can point a difference out, they seem about equal in terms of speed/snappyness and mutiselect in email is nice to have vs the 3-4 extra clicks to chose select multiple and highlight each email to delete. IDK why they removed it in 20xxx, it was always a benifit over say iphone email was to multiselect emails and not have to tap each one to delete it in a list of junk

ya i saw that somewhere but personally i dont notice a huge difference between the 2 systems other then the MS has slightly less functionality
in the end your ROM its up to you really my man. The 20759 was stable too so either way ill be using it again. i know the one feature I miss from yours is the data roaming, juicy's is missing that menu and sprint has it set to off by default so without that we cant data roam. Well if your counting hands... I vote for faster more stable... multi select is nice but Think I'd prefere 199xx

I don't know enough about either to make any educated decision. I noticed Juicy just switched to 20xxx after talking about how he was sticking with 19xxx. I trust you to pick the one which will give the ROM the best performance (which in my view is as fast as possible without sacrificing more than minor stability.) -- I could care less about the few extra clicks for multiselect as it is not a feature I use all that often

Re: *[11-26-08]* Juggalo ROM v0.05B Public Beta [SYS OS 5.2.20759 Build 20759] [UC]
well he technically has 2 ROMs, he still has his 3.x version on 19xxx and 4.0 he calls "bleeding edge" on 20764, so i think its more of a tinker version right now. the one thing i dont like is the constanly changing OEMs and updating them, which is good, but we cant figure out the old bugs before changing things around. its like saying ok we have x,y,z in there and one is causing a problem, but then add t,u to the show and it becomes more complicated to sort out with 5 changes vs 3 on top of a new base. right now im having huge amounts of lockups with 20764
I guess i vote stay at 20759. I forgot we lose IE6 in 19xxx which is nice for some things still you have to use IE for. 20759 was always stable for me, but either one is really ok by me ill use it either way Last edited by SprintTouch08; 12-09-2008 at 02:04 PM. |
