I will remove the shutdown wave, but the phone on wave is staying i use this as a identifier for if my test roms boot. that way i don't have to stare at it like a zombie. its my way of hearing my rom boot while im multitasking. i also just like it.

1) because its set to allow you to choose the time zone. I never saw it as a big dea lol

2) On/Off text is black by default. thats just the way it is when you add the comm manager tab to the manila mode9. i could look into this later but its not a priority for me. as the green slider is pretty self explanatory if the text is obstructed by a black background.

3) ive never had this issue. i even just did a hard reset to try. its fine.

It's probably a one off issue that I will not see again. I will let you know if it happens again.

4) i haven't noticed any heat issues. also if your next question is do you use the same battery and power tweaks as juicy, the answer is yes. so this might just be a placebo effect from switching.

5) this i will look into, but it seems to be loading pages in full screen for me. some of them are just to large to fit with out horizontal scrolling. making them load to fit with out scrolling and the page would be completely useless because the text would be less legible then it already is.

I meant the setting in opera to enable auto full screen was not checked. I had to go in and check it to enable this feature. I think it was enabled by default on the stock telus but had the same thing running the new juicy.

6) i have never seen this error through out all my builds. i just tried again. before and after i hard reset. i cannot recreate this issue.

It only happened once so maybe a freak thing.

7) yes manila customizer will break the background. it will also cause your baner to say T-Mobile and tJanuary 1st 2008 in most cases. i dont use it. this is why ive made my cuztom manila. it embeds everything i use, but allws you to use your own icons and background images. also what event sounds are you refering to?

This sucks :P The banner is fine as you can see from the screenshot. Just the annoying white block. The sounds I was refering to the settings: sounds and notifications settings (the events part)

No need to remove it at all, I was just wondering if it is something that can be changed by a reg edit - and if so would you mine letting me know which entry it would be. Thanks for your help!

oh the events sounds. yes i will look into setting those as off by default. also i will look in ot the opera issue. its in the ini. so i assume its easily fixed. also. try setting your background image again it make get rid of that white box.

removing the HTC animation sound wave reference key completely should kill it. the files will still be there tho as they are in rom. the sole purpose of htc animation is for the boot image and sound.

try setting your background image again it make get rid of that white box.

Setting the background image fixes it on the home screen but it is still there on every other screen and even overlaps some things. The problem is with the manila of the clock I changed. I can probably think of how to fix it.

edit: I did not realize you had the background on all tabs. That probably has something to do with my issue. I will let you know if I figure it out.

what clock are you using... and yes the clock will cause this issue.

The clock breaks the background on all tabs. If you can let me know how you get the background on all tabs I may be able to fix my clock. (it's a custom clock I made)

Ok. Probably not worth the effort then to worry about it. I personally do not like the background on every tab :P But its your rom.. hehe
