yeah stuck in roaming did notice it has smething to do with modem setting in epst. prl is fine tho.

got a link for tobey new rom. im working on my own rom but yeah i can play. let me know

no new rom just xip/bas and sys...

base was reduced in size by 87%

yea mine is still roaming too. i like the alltel rom it is good so far. what is the base rom you are talking about? does the modem settings being the problem mean it can be fixed. and in one of your post conflipper you had said the country code was for canada=311. what is it supposta be because i went here http://www.theroamingzone.com/mnc/ and it said us has both. i switched to 310 just for kicks it did nothing. if it is the modem settings could you let me know what they should be or how i can find out. thanks

the problem with the roaming is that the EPST file we have on the alltel rom, is from the sprint rom. located in the drivers folder. so it has sprint setting stuck into that. I was able to switch it to HDR hybrid. and i was on alltel not roaming, until i got out of roaming area. then i had no service.

I just PM w0rdie asking for the EPST files from his windows folder on his alltel diamond. if we have those we will be able to get the roaming icon off there.

quick fix download wordies dump make the SYS and OEM Packages and get the files you need from there

cool i hope this works it is just a pain in the @55 to have to set everthing up for roaming the icons annoying too. are you going to make a custom diamond rom from the alltel base? just curious because i cannot remove the programs from the quick list

I attempted this, but couldnt get the right setting to get the dump. not sure what i was doing wrong.

yes i will get a custom going for alltel users. just like i did for the vogue. question for you, is your weather working? for some reason, i have data and everything, but weather says i have no connection.

weather might have a glitch in the server. other users on different carriers and roms are reporting same issues.
