in other words the data will work. just make sure your M.IP default profile and security settings are correct. let me know if you need them.

if your roaming. get an alltell PRL and flash it to your device. that will fix it.

ive attached all 3 of alltell's PRL updates that were releases Sept 15th
I would use 40038 PRL as it is made for PDA and smart devices.

Thats exactly what I had to do to stop the roaming icon from flashing.. I also had to make sure my home SID was correct.

i did update the prl to 40038 which i found from corolada from posts on here and my sid/nid are 142= sid in nc and 65535 for the nid which alltel said are correct and it still has a solid roaming indicator which is annoying because i have to set anything that uses data like email to download when roaming. not a huge deal but still annoying. thanks juggalo x for that though.

update the prl via ##775 again then after it reboots. dial *228xx (xx is the last digits. telus is 03, alltell might be different) and then update your PRL OTA.

if you have an alltel PRL on there it should NOT be roaming. the prl must not have taken.

k, if not then you may legitimately be ion an alltell roaming area.... but u would most likely know if u were.

some times u got to put the prl in more then once... dont know why but i have seen it not take the first time.

The Alltel Diamond is the exact same (hardware) as the Sprint device.

Verizon is getting the crippled version (if any at all).
