Re: [Jan 15th New Sprint Radio V1.11.00F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

ajm has extracted & repacked the new radio - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=64935

just flashed so it's too soon to tell, but it's functioning well so far.

maybe this thread should be updated...

Re: [Jan 15th New Sprint Radio V1.11.00F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

Has anyone had any problems with the telus radio where it would not ring when a call came in? or set itself to vibrate automatically? I'm having that problem and i dont know if its the new mighty rom 4.8 or the telus radio (i installed them both on the same day)

this is a problem inside of culkins kitchen I believe, it has nothing to do with the radio, usualy a soft reset will fix this issue though

This is a well known issue in multiple ROMS. It seems the only "real" way to resolve it is to convert all your rings to WAV files.

So what's the verdict, Telus 1.04 or 1.07?

thats a tough one freeza. honestly I usually see more bars with telus but occasional slow delays in data. on average the 1.07 radio does better with data, higher top end speeds on average but I have went into 1x a few times where I wouldn't with the telus. I usually gravitate back to the telus because all things being equal, i like bars

Thumbs down Re: [Jan 15th New Sprint Radio V1.11.00F] Official CDMA Diamond Radio Thread

Hello, I have a couple of questions that may seem pretty obvious to you guys.

1) The Radios that are on the first page of this thread are all .RAR files. Don't we need the signed RUU for the radio in order to update it?

2) I just managed to flash the Telus 1.04.05 Radio on to my Sprint Touch Pro today because I found the signed RUU. I just wanted to inquire about battery life/ battery performance with this radio. I trust that most of you have spent much more time with the Telus Radio than I have.

Thank you in advanced

.rar is an archive. Download winrar or 7zip (google them, or get another program that can extract .rar's) and extract the .rar file. You will end up with a folder containing RUU_Signed.nbh as well as the ROMUpdateUtility.exe to flash the radio.
