Wow, thats pretty cool. Well at least we know it works for someone. Maybe it depends on the ROM as well... what you running?
I can safely say it worked horribly on Juicy's 4.4

I'm running the most updated Telus radio on the leaked Sprint ROM.

I haven't seen any major difference in battery life (need further testing) or signal yet. It does seem to produce a bit more heat than the Telus radio. GPS acquisition is still 2-3x faster. Text seem to go through fine and I haven't had any dropped calls. This is on Juicy 4.4.

Using 1.11.00 for 3 days now.
My texts are fine. I've had no problem with sending any out and getting a response from my overly texting obsessive friends seconds later.

In the area I'm in right now there is really no alltel signal so having 2 bars is a miracle. I've been sitting between 2-3 constantly. I discount the bars anyway but just useful information for you.

I have many hour long phone calls through out the day, and a lot of data sessions and my phone is just as cold to touch when I end the call sessions as when I have started them.

I'm at a 10 for 10 with the 1.11 and 1.04

hey everyone,

just took the bold move to install radio version 1.04.05v.....just wanted to see if anyone else had this weird instance though:

I wanted to check out my gps using google maps, which has worked great since installing the juicy roms, but all of a sudden when i installed this radio, when i wanted it to find "my location", it placed me in a completely different area of the map (which it has never done before)......however as piece of mind for anyone who has experienced this, i just left google maps on for a while, and it seemed to calibrate itself proper and find my actual location.

so for anyone who had this same issue, it seems to resolve itself.....but thus far that was the only weird thing i noticed about installing this radio. I'll keep you posted if i find anything else.

Thanks!
