Is this the radio from the Sprint Touch pro? Is there a big difference over the VZW one? Will it perform a ##786# again?

i dont know, some one is testing it now will be a day or so. its not the version thats on the sprint touch pro but it is from the sprint touch pro's first rom.

and yes it hard resets still

Have you tried flashing the radio with a custom ruu that doesn't force a hard reset?

nope i use the ruu that we use for our diamond os rom flashing

Streaming is over the air. That won't have much to do with music on your phone.

Damn... if not a new Radio or a custom ROM does anyone have a suggestion for what might sto those annoying hiccups? (hiccups that seem to happen when the phone has a bad connection - which SHOULDN'T mess with my music! Anyone?

New Sprint radio v1.00.04F located in post 1. it is an updated version of the diamond radio. but it is older then the official shipped Sprint touch pro radio.
