How's the reception on the VZW radio, is it better or worse then the Sprint Radio?

Sweet, flashing it now. Hopefully the battery will last a LITTLE longer now.

It's completely safe to flash back to the original radio, should we need to, right?

I am testing the new radio as we speak. I flashed the 1.03 radio and now am flashing Juicy 2.5 on top of it. Then I'll install a battery meter. Obviously my results won't be anything scientific because I did not track battery usage from before I flashed for something to compare to but I do know that most of the time my usage was 400-500 mA draw when idle and the screen was on 70% backlight.

Understandable. I just meant as far as (like with the Touch) you couldn't downgrade radios (but that was more from a gps to a non gps radio or what not). These are both the same in that regard to where we *could* flash back.

i also went from stock sprint radio to stock vzw radio--- so far no problems. the flashing was fast and easy-- reception is the same -- i'll post later on battery information.

I'm jumping in too. Anything is better than sprint's current radio. as long as it doesn't damage anything or cause me charges on my sprint account!!
