Re: *Improved* [11-24-08] Ivan's Sprint ROM 1.6/FMRadio[OS 5.2.20759 Build 20759 IRTv

I can't keep Activesync from starting on it's own. I had the same problem with Calkulins ROM. Is this because yours and his are Sprint based. Is there a fix? I tried the Kill.cab and the TaskManager fix and neither worked. Everyone says it doesn't affect the battery life(that much),but it can't help, and I find this extremely irritating.

Try turning off the time synchronization in the phone menu. That is what worked for me.

make sure it's not in the exclusive list in your task manager and make sure you don't have push email on

with 1.4 I had this prob with Opera (but seems like not IE) running for about 30secs and then turns off itself and goes to home screen...so I flashed last night w/ 1.6 but still seems to have the same prob. But somehow i don't see anybody else talking about this issue, so is this just me? then I need help! thanks for your help! btw, thank you Ivan for your great work!

Thank you for the kind words.

I am currently working on v1.7 to ensure we do not have the sms notification issue i know some have it and some don't but this change ( thanks to calcu) will fix that issue once and for all.

To help you with the IE issue. You say that IE just crashes on you??? Try it after doing a hard reset and let me know how it goes. Just want to make sure is not an additional software installed after the flash.

Post Re: *Improved* [11-24-08] Ivan's Sprint ROM 1.6/FMRadio[OS 5.2.20759 Build 20759 IRTv

I am intrigued because I am a sprint user and so this rom will probably be more suited to me than the others I have tried. What I like most is the possibility of using business card reader. Is it still in the latest release (1.6) and will it remain in the future? Other rom cooks have added the raph800 and then taken it out because of problems it caused. Does it cause problems here? I only saw one user mention it on this thread.
Thanks!
