For Users Who Would Like To See Their DATA Connection Go Into "Idle" State:

I removed the older signal bars and replaced them with the 6.5 signal icons due to the nice, rounded look of them. Drawbacks of this is that it will always show your data is "active" when in fact it is not!

For users who wish to revert to the older signal icons, please install the cab attached.

p.s. I haven't tested this cab myself, but go ahead and give it a try, should work.

And remember to soft reset after install!

glad its working out for you! and yes, the ROM he released publicly was technically beta 3. that one just didn't like my phone. but beta 2 does :)

Has any one using the ROM tried using WunderRadio?
I cant seem to get any stations to play?
It sounds pretty cool, I wish I could get it to work

I had that problem with my Vogue. There is a reg setting to change to 0 to reset that, I don't know exactly where that is though. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Found it: HKCU\System\State\Messages\TotalEmail\unread = 2

Hey Mike, I tested the cab and it works. just wanted to let you know. I prefer the old signal icon so this is much appreciated. thanks again. my apologies, spoke too soon. the signal bar does switch on but the data bars remains lit. I swore it turned off in the beginning but now its not turning off.(although data is turning off)

I tested it on the 6.5 rom. My guess is it would be for both because the signal icon he mentions can be used for 6.1 and 6.5. the new 6.5 one is ok but shows less bars and doesn't display when data is off. Like Mike said, it doesn't really matter because it is off but I like to see it off, also like more bars:)

Can you guys do me a favour.

Ones who are still running R3BORN and experience the ringtone bug, do the following:

With a registry editor, navigate to:

HKLM\Software\HTC\AudioManager

You should see a reg entry that says

Ringtonepath \Windows\Rings\

Change it to

Ringtonepath \My Documents\My Ringtones\
