The core ringer problem that the majority of people have encountered does not affect .wav ringtones, so saying that the cab fix works only for .wav ringtones is really not saying anything at all.

I was having the ringer problem even while using .wav files, so hence te posting of the cab...

really? I think you are the first person to say even with their ringtones converted to .wav files you still got the bug.

I went to Windows\Rings and deleted that whole folder. I store my few ringtones that I actually use (which are .wav files) in Application Data\Sounds and haven't had the bug come back for about 3 weeks now. :headbang:

Did you use the cab posted or just convert and move your tones?

Cool, if I run into the problem again I will try that. Once I get over this bug I won't be flashing for a LONG time. This ROM rules.

My ROM is just fine thank you. Most bugs are in Manila itself...

I run 6.5 every day and it is stable enough to do so, it's no problem if you don't want to support 6.5...

Wow!! Are the cooks starting to turn on each other? I think this is Juicy's first post ever in this thread!! This is getting interesting to watch. :-)

Nothing interesting to watch.

I would dive into 6.5 if i had a diamond, which unfortunately i do not.

And no, there aren't any bugs with 6.5, clearly i know that cause of my touch pro rom which is probably the most widely used rom out there. Juicy should know that atleast.

I just don't have the time to do "blind" releases.

I also don't think its fair to the diamond users as well. Cause i can guarantee you right now, It will get MUCH less attention than this ROM does at the moment.
