I have a hard time running both threads, and I don't visit this thread very often as i do the touch pro forum, so please pm me if this solution works.

On a side note,

I am coming much closer to getting the diamond rom finished. It's just hard right now considering the feedback im getting in my touchpro thread. I don't need duplicate errors from both roms. Since i don't give you guys many updates, I rather give you a solid one that doesn't have as many bugs!

I am working on a new touchpro build. When that is released, i will port it immediately for the diamond :)

Its been almost 2 weeks and no ringer issue. Since r3born has the same issue with some AND the first letter in a text issue is back which bugged me Ill stay on 4.8 to see if my ringer stops working.

I've tried several since v3.7 and always gone back to v3.7 --- It's proven the most stable and bug free for me.

I've still got a ringer issue. Notifications cease to sound after the phone's been on for some time... not sure why.

I understand that is what it does. But why would I want to do that? I've had my phone for 10 months or so and never needed this? Ive never updated my prl and what in the profile does it update? I just dont get it but everyone else was thrilled to see you post the cab so obviously Im missing something here

PRL update is good if they are adding new towers to your area and currently you are in a bad area...when you update the prl you can connect to the newer towers.

Profile update is the data profile, so if you are having internet connection issues sometimes updating your profile to their data network helps.

So it is a good cab to have just in case...because most custom roms are generic those settings aren't there anymore. It's just a nice thing to have, like I said just in case.

Anyone,

ive spent the last couple hours pouring over the forums after discovering R3born. I want to update from the stock sprint rom but im seeing that people are having a lot of trouble with r3born, ringers, battery life, etc.

like i said ive spent a lot of time researching but im not finding a lot of clarity. Is there enough cabs to fix all the problems with r3born? is it worth flashing to it?
