i've read the posts for 6.5, but was wondering, what are the biggest benefits of 6.5 to 6.1, and the downsides? I'm still trying to decide if I want to stick w/ rhodium, or go to 6.5

I would like to say thanks, to Mike and to the people on this forum for helping me solve the frustrations I had with my stock alltel rom. You are awesome, and Mike 4.8 is great I know 5 will be great. Just a quick question, if anybody knows, does the carrier know if we unlock our phones? does it void the warranty or anything. Just curious i dont really care if it does just been wondering. Thanks

There has been no news. Mike is working out some bugs that are showing up on the tpro release that would also show up here. Mike is a perfectionist and doesn't want to send something out that is that doesn't work properly. So we are in wait mode but the value for us is the release we get will have some of updated tweaks/modifications and will be closer to a finished product so to speak.

well from what i just got done reading at the touch pro forum from mighty himself, he is going to start working out the kinks of the touch pro version in a few days then im assuming we will see a release after he makes it 100%. so that way he doesnt have to fix 2 buggy roms just port a 100% rom. go to his profile and read all the post he made today in that forum you will see what im talking about. they have been having a few issues with some parts of the rom but idk how bad of issues they were.

yes, the carrier may know if you have unlocked your phone but the good news is you can relock it if for some reason you need to return the phone. the "Unlocking, Relocking, and Flashing" Sticky thread on the first page has the relocker.

carrier only knows if you have to service or return the phone i believe....
