How'd the new MR5 on the Pro go over the other day? If all went well Mighty was going to port it to the Diamond, so I was just wondering how it went. (if anyone knows)

I read the last few pages over there but it was all about one guys GPS not working and flashing the Telus radio and blah blah blah. :)

i think its going ok. I think its still need a little work but its getting there. Has for a rom for the diamond i cant really say (as im not mike). lol

Hey, Interesting thing happened 2 days ago. I use memmaid and I set all the application caches to use internal memory, and accidentally changed the ring tones cache as well ( I always left it in main memory). Within hours I got the no ring bug, never had it before, switched back to main memory for ringer tone cache, rebooted and back to normal. I waited a couple of days to see if it came back and it didn't. I am not sure what changes memmaid makes when you change the cache but it may fix the problem. Anyone else try it?... I think they have a trial version.

I had the no ringer bug on 4.7 and 4.8 but have been using .wavs without any problems... until today. Phone stopped ringing but would vibrate (even though not set to vibrate and volume set to high). I added spb shell 3 last week... dunno if that had anything to do with it... but its awesome, so I'll deal with it.
Soft reset cleared the ringer problem for now. May have been an isolated event.

Not sure if anyone else has this issue, but I can't play any YouTube videos. I keep getting an error message.

Doncha just love when technology starts working correctly by itself?
Reminds me of when I used to hear funny noises and clunking coming from my old car. Or the transmission would start slipping. And then the noises would just magically disappear and the transmission would start working correctly.
Maybe the car gnomes have cousins that work in our phones?
