ok, this will work I think, When you run the Unlocker.exe after establish active sync connection, check the screen of your Diamond, it will ask for permission to enter bootloader, click yes. I think it goes away fast so be sure to select yes. if you did this, sorry but that might be the reason. afterward this, follow the onscreen instructions on your desktop. hope this works.

OK, I clicked on the RAR file to open it--it extracted to a diamond unlocker folder with one file in it the diamond unlocker.exe double clicking on that creates a slew of other files in tht folder and then runs the RUU which never really starts. This is from a new d/l of the rar.

Yeah you need to take all those files out of that extra folder created when you unrar and put them in the root directory on the desktop. Sometimes it won't run when it is in a folder inside of a folder. I hope that makes sense.
