my one complaint about 6.5's titanium and i hope it'll be fixed either by mighty or the ms developers.. is...

when you tap start and it brings up the listing of programs.. or settings.. you click on.. say.. today settings.. you muck aaround and close it it takes you right back to the today screen. you gotta go back through the start/programs/settings all over again.

its kind of a hassle. i wanna see the start programs listing STILL be there after closing out of a settings program or games folder.

I was looking at the changelog for MR5 and noticed : [ + ] Internet Explorer 8
Is this for real? Or is it just a typo?
Are we skipping over PIE6 & 7? I just got IE8 installed on my PC not too long ago.

I don't think it's a typo. I've heard that some of the features of Internet Explorer 8 on the PC will be present in the PIE for Windows mobile 6.5 .. it's more of a "Full HTML Browser" in the newest Win Mobile release.
All these new phones that are coming out are flaunting "FULL HTML" browser capabilities, so Microsoft is trying to stay in the market.

so this IE8 isnt the same as the IE versions in 21500 or 21501, with the silver icons at the bottom?

I honestly don't know that much about it. But I'm guessing it has to be better..Microsoft seems infamous for coming out with a browser that's "almost-as-good" as the browsers that kicked their @ss into coming out with the newer version to begin with.

Like.. Remember when Microsoft had internet explorer 4 forever.. then ..6 or whatever.. then, oh wow. .Now they finally have a Tabbed browser, when firefox and opera had been doing that for years.

This newest version of PIE is supposed to be much more finger-friendly..etc

I keep getting error 262 every time I try to upgrade the ROM on my Touch Pro. Any help?

this is the Diamond forum, so you probably need to install Mike's tp rom.
