install the SmartPhoneTrackerFreeInstall1.2.0.5 which Mighty has used in 4.6.

MR4.8
1.11.00F

Nuegps is included properly...

just type !nuegps0000 getpos

for more commands go to no2chems website...
If you want to change your pin, then you need to add that registry manually:)

I wonder how many hundreds of posts less this thread would be if one sentence was added on the first page, in the change log: "To avoid problems you must flash the stock ROM, clear storage, then flash the latest ROM." It may be in the Flashing Tutorial thread, but the change log is another good spot.

You could even add: "volume issues may be experienced when using an older version of Tsowens custom taskbar." - etc.

My guess is... 347 less posts. Maybe 348.

actually I agree that the same question is being answered too much, but if you are going to suggest it, at least get the steps and rom correct.

1. Flash the shipped rom of your carrier (not the stock)
2. Flash the custom rom of your choice Mighty 4.8
3. Clear Storage after customizations by going to Start>Settings>System tab>Clear Storage
4. optional flash the radio of your choice. can be done after flashing back to shipped or at the end.

Mighty shouldn't need to add this to his first page because many don't feel it's necessary at all to do this. Plus some will not do it unless they experience problems post flash so it personal preference on whether you do this everytime. regarding the task bar, nobody knows what or if there is a problem with these since some are not getting the ringer bug so why would he tell people not to use a good taskbar? If he posted warnings for every issue people face, the changelog would be two pages long with possible problems that he cant confirm It would be like a commercial from the drug companies, symptoms include upset stomach, wood lasting longer than 4 hrs call your doctor, mild mood swings but viva viagra! :) Sorry just my 2 cents.

I don't think you can change SIPs automatically between landscape and portrait. I've asked no2chem to look into it though.

As far as the ringer I think I got hit by it today. I'll need more testing to be sure.

I like your drug warning analogy. But before I learned to flash the shipped rom, clear storage, then flash the custom rom (in that order - which works every time), I would see all sorts of "symptoms." All of which were solved by going through those steps. With the exception of compatibility issues, that's all Mighty Mike would need to say to slove most problems and cut the length of this thread in half. Even if it's not necessary every time you flash...what's the harm? Look how simple it could be:

FLASHING PROCEDURE:
1) Flash shipped ROM (location link)
2) Clear storage in settings
3) Flash new ROM
(note: steps 1 and 2 may not be needed, but you risk having problems)

I guess some people may actually like reading through hundreds of random problems trying to solve each one. But when most of these problems have the same solution, it just seems odd to me.
