Hey Mike,

It basically re-iterates the solution posted above by the user md lieber. What you have to do is make sure that both volumes are set on vibrate fist. Thereafter, you have to FIRST set the SYSTEM volume up, and THEN follow that step with setting the RING volume up (you can't set the ringer volume up before the system volume, or else it causes the "no ringer" problem, and your phone will only vibrate, at most...)

I tried this as per my previous posts and as stated it didn't cure my problem, ring way i lost all - ring, vibrate and headset notification and system way i lost ring but retained vibrate and headset.

My Documents\My Ringtones is an empty folder, so I can't quite understand on how that would cause ringtone problems.

I wonder if, when a call comes in, the OS looks in the My Documents\My Ringtones folder for the selected ringtone first and then \Windows and \Windows\Ringers second, and if it can't find the My Documents\My Ringtones folder, it sometimes goes ringer brain-dead. That would explain why people without the My Documents\My Ringtones folder can still get their ringtones most of the time, but why sometimes the phone fails to ring. Just a thought.

Edit: LOL....does that babble make sense. I hope you guys can decipher it into a coherent thought. ;-)

Well pixel, that statement would only hold true if people who add that folder has the problem fixed lol.

I doubt it though. I'm not a believer yet!

Well my phone rang fine for almost two days, then about 1 hour ago I lost the ringer again and missed a few calls. I k now that hunting down something that can't easily be replicated is a major pain, but hopefully the problem will be found, as there is one for sure.

Don't believe it! I thought it had fixed my problem but the no ring problem came back for me tonight. Doh!

Still love your roms man! So fast and stable (and I'm still on 4.7!).
