the battery issue is beginning to get annoying i start my day with 100% and by 3 or 5 its at 20% 6 to 8 hours of use should get better battery life. also its minimal usage bc im at work and i can be on my phone except on lunch for maybe 15min or data and 5 min phone call. a fix would be awesome since i love this rom would like to keep using it...

Don't have your emails getting automatically synced throughout the day do you? (If you even use email)

Also, are you in a bad signal area? I know when I'm inside of this one building, I get just about no service (it flirts between no service and minimum), and it absolutely kills my battery.

I know you mentioned some of your usage but you should be at around 70% or more. There has to be something wrong with your battery.

with moderate usage on this rom (to me this is 5-10 brief calls totaling under 30 minutes, several data sessions totaling 30minutes, active sync set to every 30 minutes during work hours and "as items arrive in the morning/night, 5 text messages or so, jbed opera mini about 20 minutes, rsshub about 10-15 minutes) I still have 60% battery after 10hrs. sometimes less especially if I make more calls or set email to arrive immediately.

I would ask for new battery to be honest.

does 4.8 fix a freezing issue? Sometimes I will wake up the next day and i'll have to take my battery out cause my phone froze into a black screen.

well im gonna not be using s2u2 if maybe thats a problem there. just got pocketshield hope that works better. no emails recieving or sending i have that set up for manually. i use opera mini also sometimes opera 9.5. active sync turned off unless plugged in to my comp. idk im hopeing pocketshield is better on my battery. we shall see
