Nice sig dude!

Has anyone had freezing problems after disabling xT9? I sure haven't.

EDIT: DISABLE XT9 WITH THIS CAB.

Is 4.6 still final, or should we be expecting/hoping for a 4.7 with those remaining issues fixed?

No, Mike took the "final" out of the thread title exactly for that reason. Fixes are coming.

I don't think there's a general consensus as to the best radio to use. I tried 1.11.00F and it was much worse (for me) than Verizon's or the Telus Radio V1.04.05V. Battery life and heat issues came back. I've since stuck with Telus.

It depends where you live so a radio is really something you have to try for yourself.

Or here is a thread with 36 city's listed so you could see if yours is there.

Ok, one clarity on this, if I upgraded to 1.11.00F then Can I revert back to 1.00.00F ?

I have two problems that I don't think are specific to Mighty.

The main problem is that every couple of days I cannot open any of the email inboxes. I choose "Inbox" from the TF3d email page but nothing happens. I need to reset in order to get it working again.

The other problem is that in notifications settings for Reminders, "Display meesage on screen" keeps becoming magically unchecked. I use S2U2 and depend on this feature to dismiss reminders.

2. The battery life is just not what it was when i first flashed.

Is this happening to anyone else and if so is there a fix????

I think everyone here would tell you to flash 4.6 and then see if the problems persist. Like ex-wives/girlfriends, no one wants to go back and rehash issues that may have been in a previous ROM. :-)

Ah, good while it lasted. This morning keyboard froze again for a good 5sec+ so I guess disabling xt9 wasn't a cure. Opera also froze and forced me to soft reset

forced you to hard reset? that is scary,i m using the d2 keyboard without arrows , disabled all auto correct and auto predict options, the freezing is minimal if it happens it only lasts a sec or so,i also disabled the block recognizer, transcripter, not sure if it have helped,i m typing this message from my diamond
on the other hand i found out that installing stuff and uninstalling it causes the system to become laggy and u actually lose alot of availble space,so after i knew exactly what i wanted to do i hard reaet yesterday and installed everything i wanted in one shot"sashimi", big difference.

on a side note "mobile tracker"crashes when asked to send a sample email, i m almost positive it is because i m using SEVEN wanted to see if any having similar problem

you know 4.5 was perfect until these things started happening....I am thinking that it might have something to do with "ms my phone" if I recall correctly it kinda started happening when I DL'd the cab for it. The battery situation could be from "my phone" but I changed the update settings to weekly and at night as it is charging. As for 4.6 it seem a bit glitchy from what I'm reading. Ill upgrade if the notes thing keeps happening.

Thanks

Question: Did you disable xT9 using the CAB or using just settings? I used the cab and haven't gotten a freeze since. 4.6 has been really stable for me except for when I slide to answer, it gets stuck on that screen for like 5 seconds sometimes.
edit: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=40427 solved it for me.

Also to the dude using Radio 1.00.00: Use either the Telus 1.04 or Sprint 1.11 radio. Or whatever else works for you. Just don't use 1.0.

I did not dl the xt9 cab I left the settings the same. In regards to the text freezing it happened only a few times so it did not bother me.

I found another bug. Sometimes TF3D crashes out of nowhere when I am texting and close out of a message. I am a heavy texter too.

Also, when I get a text message, I have my ringer set to vibrate. Sometimes it doesn't stop vibrating.

Maybe that is why I had few, if any, issues to report. I have a folder on my PC called "installed apps" and it has all my cabs, ringers, wallpapers, etc. As soon as I flash a ROM, I install all the apps, do all my configs, set up TF3D the way I like it...all in one shot. I'm sure I don't put my phone through its paces like power users here either, so that also could be part of my good fortune with Mike's ROMs (other than the fact that they are just damned good).

If not, I'll just wait until 4.6 comes out, do a hard-reset, and flash 4.6

And, once again, thanks for any info, and thanks to for the awesome ROM!

Did anyone ever find a solution to this? I've had this same issue for a while and can't find the option to manually select activesync, internal storage, or internet sharing. It automatically loads ICS. Even stranger, when I charge using the standard usb plug, it pops up and says the same thing, as if I'd connected the phone to my pc via usb.

The only time I had an issue with this, I just had to delete the activesync relationship and then create it again.

Not sure if this is related to my provider, this ROM or even just WM, but as yesterday was DST, WM said it adjusted the time to reflect DST, but the clock was still wrong. I had to manually change it. On my non PPC cellphone it took a power down before the new time came in.

This is my first time change on a ppc phone so I'm not sure how its supposed to work.

If anyone wants to have the pictures taken from the phones camera saved in My Documents\My Pictures in the internal memory this is what you do.

Use the PHM RegEdit installed under programs. Go to this key \HKML\Software\HTC\Camera\General
and change 'enable DCIM' to 0 (originally 1)
soft reset and your pictures should be saved under the My Pictures folder from now on.

I also changed some other key but I dont think it had any effect so im not including it.

Hope this isn't old news....

Also does any have a fix for viewing the pictures, everytime i want to swipe to change to a new picture it just pans instead, even though im not zoomed in....

Yeah, i used the cab and it didn't make a difference. Yesterday night I had a real long freeze, over 10 seconds. It's getting a bit annoying, especially since I've never experienced this issue before coming to this rom :(

Same thinmg happened to me (Sprint). I don't think it was a carrier issue. I got a pop-up saying that the time change had been recognized, but the clock still had the old time. I should have thought to try a soft reset to see if that fixed the problem first, but like you I manually set the clock and then did a soft reset. I'll be sure and pay closer attention six months from now. ;-)

I also noticed by 5pm the time had not updated (though i had a message earlier telling me my clock had been updated) and I did a soft reset, which fixed it.

Sorry if this was answered earlier in the thread, but I couldn't find an answer using the search tool. I just flashed to 4.6 from my sprint stock rom. Everything's good except that the menu softkey on the text messaging tab does not do anything. Is there a fix for this issue?

Hey guys, I'm a long time MightyROM user and supporter. Since v2.5 though (seems like years ago!), I've kept up with this thread and read every post but I've been unable to flash newer versions on my main Diamond. I have however, flashed several newer versions on a spare Diamond I have laying around bu there's only so much testing you can do it without the phone being activated. I know it's sacrilegious to be so far behind, but I have a question nonetheless:

On my 2.5 ROM phone, i have over 10,000 text messages. Now these are all stored to the phone as far as I remember. In newer versions though, there's the option to save texts messages to the Internal Memory. So my question is that when I flash 4.6 now and restore my text messages how can I define where they will be restored to? I'd like to move them to Internal Storage and no longer have them on main memory. btw I'm using PowerSMS to backup and restore text messages.

PS - Anyone know exactly where they're saved on the main mem? I'd like to try and figure out how much room they're using just out of curiosity.

Sweet, thanks. Mine was only about 2MB, not bad at all.

Any ideas on how to switch the text message storage from main mem to internal storage after doing a backup?
