you could download a trial of sprite backup, then restore everything after you update the rom.

Re: UPDATED!! [10/2/08] DHarvey's Sprint(ONLY) Diamond ROM 2.0 [20755 Build]

So after tinkering around with it for a while, I'd say this ROM is pretty good. I do think it drains the battery a little fast: in about 3 hours of use, I went from 60% to about 20%, but I was flashing, backing up, restoring, playing around, etc. However, in writing this post (~2 min), I went from 21% to 18% with no activity, so who knows. I have it set at 0 PP and found that, as expected, it was pretty slow at first and then kicked up in speed the more I used it. It is by no means very smooth though and at times, it likes to hang for a few minutes when opening text messages and stuff and scrolling through the icons on the bottom is not the most fluid thing in the world. However, everything else looks great so far--I wish it had the Sprint colors though (green looks too tacky) and I don't want to install the manilla for it since supposedly it's slower than this one . I'll use it some more and post more findings as I see them, but as of right now, if Juicy doesn't fix the Sprint battery drain on his 2.3 build, this looks to be a keeper.

I changed PP to 0 also. I hope this helps the battery but I have to doubt it.

Re: UPDATED!! [10/2/08] DHarvey's Sprint(ONLY) Diamond ROM 2.0 [20755 Build]

Do you guys have battery drain issues in this revision? I charged my phone for about 2.5 hours and I only went up from 16% to 22% and in about 5 minutes, it fell down to 14%. I'm not sure if it's just the phone or the ROM. Do you guys have similar problems? Have any of you guys also added the sprint colors and seen if it slows down the device at all? Thanks!

I can't really comment on the battery drain issue, cuz for me it seems about the same as the regular sprint rom, but I did add the sprint colors and I must say it seems hella fast to me, it does get caught up at times though mostly when trying to load up opera or in SMS message but for the most part it is faster than the stock rom

Hey thanks! Did you just install the cab manilla file in the Juicy thread or is there another place where you can get it?
