Just a heads up...

BuildOS chokes when Kevtris is added, which is also default.

Re: How To: Kitchens

One thing I've noticed... I keep getting errors in buildOS when using the latest OEM (2.02, and a few earlier ones too). It seems the files "1bbfdc9b_manila" and "4e670504_manila" now exist in the Flip Clocks OEMs (they), which conflict with most of the carrier manila OEMs...

Re: How To: Kitchens

YO Tobey! Didn't get to properly d/l Juicy's 3.0 last night but I flashed and tested a "clean" ROM with all your latest files and I'm pretty impressed. I added the Opera 2745 OEM, maybe you should include that on your next OEM release. Everything is working like it's supposed to, nice and quick and the D3D driver is working in accelerated games.

YAY!

I did flash with the 1% battery deal that seems to still not work, gonna re-flash now without that and import my settings and stuff to give my ROM a test drive during the day and I'll try out Juicy's later tonight.

The setupdll.dll file exist in QuickMenu and Kevtris, so only choose one,

I'm really liking the results from the cooked rom I made with your recent updates Tobey! Nice and fast and it has everything I need! Everything has been working very well for now.

Re: How To: Kitchens

Hmm spoke to soon. I just tested Sprint TV and it didn't work. I'm getting the 7004 error. I didn't cook it with the included OEM, I installed using an updated .cab I've been using since I switched to custom ROMs that is a higher version than what I've seen included in the kitchens. My CAB's filename is: SprintTV-1_6_Diamond_1041_082108_Upgrade.CAB

It was posted in here somewhere.

I only get this problem when using a digital clock with the Sprint or Neon Manilas. BTW if you use one of the digital clocks with the Telus Manila you get a white box over the half of the bar where it would normally say the carrier. I got it to work with the black flip clock, but then it didn't show any carrier information in that top bar and it had white boxes in front of call history and calender. If you don't use the Sprint or Neon manilas for now it works great.

BTW, Tobey I wanted to say this is probably the most stable and most working kitchen yet. Bluetooth works flawlessly, I can send with Sprint picturemail again, Wifi connects easily. Also one thing I couldn't do with the stock Sprint rom that works with this is VPN connections using my EVDO connection. On the stock Sprint rom it would just drop any VPN connection initiated over the air within a minute. The only thing i find still not working is Sprint TV, honestly I don't care about that, just thought you'd want to know.

I read in another thread that the problem with Sprint TV could be the Sprint carrier customizations included in the Rom. Try to cook a rom without the customizations and see if it works. Me personally I don't care about Sprint TV since I'm on Sero, only get some of the preview channels, and since Youtube works flawlessly at high resolution I have no reason to go to Sprint TV anymore. I know it sucks for the guys who pay for the service.

Kevtris didn't choke on me with the new build. It must be something else you're selecting too. Now Kevtris was choking on me with the older builds. Which file does it say it's choking on?
