The version of Pocket Express found at Sprint PowerDeck home is not the same one as the stock ROM one. The icon graphics are not sized right and the screen metrics are all wrong.

I was finally able to find the stock ROM version of Pocket Express over at http://www.duttythroy.net/. Wow, I'm so excited!!!

I've attached it here.

Has anyone noticed any impact of having a 6mb pagepool as a opposed to the default 16mb pagepool?

The sprint CDMA diamont defual pagepool is 6mb.

Does anyone know how I can install JAVA apps like Gmail mobile (with a .jad file extension)? Is this capability included in Juicy's ROM?

I believe that 2.4.1 is using a 0 pagepool so that it is dynamicaly sized.

Thank you Juicy for this fantastic release.

I noticed starting with 2.4 the HUGE difference there is in battery life. I used 2.4 yesterday and was able to comfortably get through the day with about 50% left as opposed to the 15% left on previous ROM releases. I changed the PP to 32 MB, and I havent noticed any stability issues.

I do notice one issue, and it is that the phone will wake up on text messages. this can be problematic because I dont use a screen locker ie S2U2. I tried a registry edit @ HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL\DisableSMSWakeUpEvent (used a value of 1), but this is not working. Do you know of a solution to this?

The only thing I miss from the Sprint Std rom is the Sprint TV tab for TF3D. Once I have that, I'm good.

Why did Juicy decide to go with a 6 mb PP?
