yes you can still go into settings>taskmanager> and enable it as active

the default will just be different, as i find multitasking apps wears down the battery

Juicy, IM gonna flash your Sprint 2.2 right now. I have a page pool changer, what, in your opinion, should I change the page pool to?

my opinion is stock (6mb pp) is best

but hold off

2.4 for Telus and Sprint will be up tonight

despite having the RAM available to do this, this is a phone after all and you should need to multi-task many programs at once and I thought I would bring this over to our Diamonds. - ActiveSync has been added to Exclusive Programs list and can not be closed via Task Manager (this is a background process that will re-open despite your best efforts to close in AS)
- TaskManager has been tweaked to Close apps on tap of the X button
- TaskManager menus will not visibly active in Today Screen

Workaround:
You can still multitask apps if you click start menu and launch another app, as the apps will only close upon pressing the x button

This is great. I get tired of closing things out in task manager after I have already closed them. I didn't even know it was an option to set it up this way.

If I may make a suggestion... In order to supplement losing the today screen task manager (which I've always despised on other devices due to memory hogging/leaks), maybe you could implement the old task manager that was used on the older generation ppcs (mogul, touch). The task manager is now in settings instead of programs, which make it unable to add to the start menu. I would always disable the today task manager and access the stock one through my start menu.
