well i cant get the bootloader to come up. the option to reset is the only popping up. so..... i dont know what to do. the bootloader showed up 1 time. earlier. but now it wont even pop up. so anything else i can try

Make sure you do not use the enter button. This brings up the hard reset option.

If you already downloaded J2.1, Flash it

Unzip, Open RUU folder, Run the RomUpdateUtillity

first off thanks for the help... i have downloaded jr 2.1. but its not in a zip.. its in rar.. where is the zip at

Its the same thing, put it in a folder, right click on it. Select unzip here, that should work

i put it in the folder now. and it wont let me unzip it.. or extract. soooo

Just get a freeware application that can extract RAR like zipgenius.
