Hi, I installed Juicy's custom ROM on my Telus HTC Diamond Touch phone and so far it has been working really well except for the occasional glitch, but nothing major. However, I noticed that windows update disappeared, any idea why? How can I keep the op system up to date?

It works... MS just doesn't use it yet. So if they ever actually release an update......

Wow, that is quite a task. Every time you flash the ROM you have to reconfigure everything from scratch. Is there an easier way to get it back?

This will allow you to keep your contacts, etc. As for the programs tab, you'll have to re-do that each time... Just gives you an excuse to play with it more! (the phone I mean..)

I have the Telus 2.1 ROM, and I am also experiencing the landscape 'typing' issues. It happens sporadically, and I need to reset the device to fix it. But basically, when I try to type in landscape mode for either text message or email, it just minimizes the screen and goes back to portrait mode. I'm also having this problem occur in the Opera browser occasionally.

But other than that, this ROM works very well. Good job guys!

I had been using the old ROM 2.1 it was ok except for the Battery life. Yesterday by 7pm my battery was down to 20% after regular use. with 1.8 at the same time and use I would have around 60%. Last night I updated to 2.1 and i'm happy to say that I've used my phone more than regular today. and Now its 4:30 and I have 80% I'm impressed. Good work guys!!!
