Re: [09/22/08] Juicy ROM 2.1 [TELUS & SPRINT]

I'm loving the 2.1 Rom. I really appreciate the hard work. I would like to know what people are seeing with battery life after the 2.1 upgrade. My phone has been off the charger since 8 am, it's been 45 min and my battery reads 95%. I'm hoping that it doesn't continue to drain this quickly. I have the juicy 2.1 sprint rom update and diamond tweak (doing a couple of things such as telling data to disconnect after one minute) I am new to pda's so if there are programs that shouldn't be run in conjunction with one another please let me know. I will post the rest of my battery findings throughout the day. I'm not going to hook it up to my computer during the day.

It's now 1 pm and my battery is at 70% IF drain is constant that should be about 15 hrs of battery life. However, that is with zero phone calls, a few text messages, and automatically checking for new emails every 5 min. I think I will adjust how often the phone checks for email. Once an hour maybe.

-Mail app locks and I have to reboot
-Phone has been really bad: droppped calls, people can't hear me speak

I am not sure if it is just me, but this version hates me. I will wait to do another review
ive been having many issues with tmail/poutlook as well. im hoping we are going to switch to a messaging app from a newer aku. my poutlook crashes every time i delete multiple messages. and locks up some times... also very slow.

i have had great call sucess with nothing dropped.

bluetooth i will test as soon as i get a chance
