Re: [09/22/08] Juicy ROM 2.1 [TELUS & SPRINT]

i installed dcd's carrier cab, and it did not help at all. My data speeds are still super slow in terms of latency.

I really have no clue what to do. I still strongly believe it had to do with the epst settings that took place during the initial Juicy 2.1 sprint customization.

Any ideas from juicy47 or juggalo_x? im sorry to keep pestering about this, i have no idea what settings could have been written to firmware that would stay regardless if i flash a new rom.

The EPST is from the Sprint ROM, and unmodified, so that is not the issue.

Unhappy Re: [09/22/08] Juicy ROM 2.1 [TELUS & SPRINT]

just to elaborate more on the issue:

say i fire up youtube, videos will load up but the pictures/icons take a while to load. when i open up a video, the "connecting..." screen will take long enough that my backlight will dim (30 secs) usually then it will start playing. Sometimes the app will timeout and say "no video"

Flashing to the sprint rom stock isnt helping either...

I know im whining a lot, but i dont mean to say im not grateful. I really appreciate the work you guys have done. Thank you

Also, I dont think im the only one. There were a couple posts way back when 2.1 was initially released that i believed had similar symptoms. Can others tell me about the speed of their sprint EVDO connection? Im in Boston, MA and i know i ahve a super good connection.

Re: [09/22/08] Juicy ROM 2.1 [TELUS & SPRINT]

Is there any advantage to running Diamond Tweak or one of the other tweaking programs, even with the Juicy rom?

Would the battery tweaks and such be redundant?
