Re: [09/20/08] Juicy ROM 2.0 [TELUS & SPRINT]

Ok...this is definite difference between the Telus ROM and the Sprint stock ROM: The Sprint ROM supports phone numbers that are formatted +1 (xxx) xxx-xxxx. For some reason, all my Exchange contacts that I downloaded from my company directory got prefixed with the +1. When I first got the phone last week, I called someone from my company on with the Sprint ROM and there were no issues. Today, I tried to call the same person, but the phone would, quite negatively, beep back at me. When I deleted the +1 from the phone number, the call went through no problem.

Just an FYI for those intereseted. Not sure if it's something that can be fixed in the Telus ROM or if it will even be an issue when the Sprint Version is released.

Re: [09/20/08] Juicy ROM 2.0 [TELUS & SPRINT]

juicy insane 2.0 ROM.

loving it so far!

Couple of Bugs i've noted and mentioned already i believe:
1. no numbers in keyboard mode
2. landscape mode is buggy, when in text messaging reverts back to phone dialer and in opera browser kicks back out to home screen
3. no vib and ring function in settings (appears only after i install diamond tweak 0.5)

Also, when I flashed the new ROM i usually install the the Advanced Config Tool 3.5 were i go and change the

• File system cache to 8mb
• System filter cache to 131072

Also, in registery editor i also change the data time out too 60 instead of 600:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings\
CacheTime
-change the decimal value from the default 600 to 60

Question is do you think i should do these tweaks even though your ROM has updated freatures?

Please guys stop begging, we dont have a ETA because we dont know when we will have time to fix then bugs we need in our SPARE TIME. we have families, lives, girl friends, wives and the need for some relaxation time just like the rest of you
May have been a little harsh but I doubt uncalled for, I don't think that they understand the concept or purpose of this forum, they don't read the previous posts. I am tired of reading begging posts, posts that complain and use words like unacceptable with threats to go back to the sprint stock rom. I just don't get it.

Dialing with 011 in front of the phone number works fine on the Sprint Diamond
