Re: [09/22/08] Juicy ROM 2.1 [TELUS & SPRINT]

Does changing the pagepool size actually make any difference? Those that have changed it did you actually try out the new rom with standard pagepool setting?

Is the "multi-select", ie: select multiple emails or sms from list, working properly in 2.1?

Thanks!

Yes I have tried it with both and you will notice a big difference in large pages or youtube will have no lag and will load faster.

Ok. I will give it a try then.

Edit: Tried it out and made no difference to me. If anything it was slower. You will have to try it yourself and draw your own conclusions but I think that Juicy probably would have tried this already during testing.

Hah.

But yes, changing the pagepool does make a difference. Most usually like it to be around 16mb. Changing it effects the amount of temporary memory your device has, and with a nice processor like this, 16mb should be good as long as it's stable.

I probably did not give it a long enough look. I will try this today to see if really notice an improvement. If it does give an improvement Juicy should look to update this on his ROM.
