This ROM is amazing. HTC has made Windows Mobile actually friendly to use.

New Updates in v1.5 include Audio Manager Music Tab fix and Removing the Volume Control, but leaving the Diamond Sound Icons

Re: [09/27/08] Juicy ROM 2.2 [CE OS 5.2.20755 | 16MB PP]

I have flashed the sprint 2.1 and want to know how to access the voice recognition. I feel that this will be very useful on this phone and want to have it. Initially you had to press and hold the call button until the microphone icon appeared. Now this is what rotates the screen. If it has been disabled can it be added to the next ROM upgrade?

Thanks

I also like v1.2 the best. It seems to be the smoothest. V1.4's scroll menu at time moves at a creep. The only thing about 1.2 is the loud end beep. Is there a way to kill that? A registry edit or something? Thanks.

wow, thanks man, didn't know that would rotate the screen lol... this is great for texting now...

i vote not to change that, but adding voice recognition to another longpress button for people who would like it... i personally dont use it tho.

Re: [09/27/08] Juicy ROM 2.2 [CE OS 5.2.20755 | 16MB PP]

i think the reasoning is most people who use voicecommand initiate it by pressing the button on their bluetooth headset. I dont know a lot of people who use it without a headset. i think the whole purpose of the program is really headset use to get info without taking it out of your pocket or can walk away from it. Id assume their reasoning is if you have the phone in your hand you can read the screen info and use less button presses and time to get the info

I think the holding the call button to rotate is an excellent feature like when trying to text you can get a bigger landscape keyboard. I too didnt even realize it was there until 2 or 3 days of using the ROM and did it by accident
