I am trying to build my first ROM.

Based on your instruction:

1. Download the Base Tools rar
2. Download a SYS
3. Download an OEM
4. Extract to a common folder
5. Tweak
6. Greloc
7. BuildOS
8. Buildit
9. RUU

I have a few questions:
1) what do you mean by Tweak at step (5)? do you mean tweaking to my liking? can you give an example?
2) if I want to include an app (cab file) in my own rom, how do I do this? For example I want to add Resco File Explorer (CAB file).
3) Normallly after flashing Juicy ROM, I edited a few registry for my own need. How do I edit these registry before compling my own rom?
4) How do I apply settings to an app before compling my rom? For example, I want to remove Email tab in TF3D.

1) Yes, tweak to your liking. Add, remove, modify, etc
2) You can either convert the cab to an oem, or add the cab to oemapps, and call it in config_x.txt in the carrier folder
3) Add the registry tweaks to the registry tweaks provxml
4)To remove the email tab, you must remove the tab calls from the manila xml config file. Do some searches over at xda

ok so i have tried once again to build my own rom using your sys and oem files with the diamond kitchen 1.02 and still no luck with the camera i have tried every possible way to get it to work but error every time here you will see the list of installs i have set in the kitchen...

the only thing added was my tom tom...and still i tried it without tomtom first to see if perhaps it was kicking it out...also in the oems you list picture mail as an option but it installs it as a normal application not as it should.

also included is a screenie of the actual error message i get when trying to launch the camera. please note i have tried with both sprint manila and the gsm type manila as well

i dont use msn aim or yahoo...djfreake for yahoo

i wonder if it has anything to do with the sys files...im usind wind's .76 without any problems i build my own and i get errors...he is using sys 20755

Downlaod the latest sys, SYS 20755 xxxx and the latest OEM, 1.06a and test that out

where can i find the latest sys 20755? its not in your ftp directory nor is 0EM 1.06
