Re: [09/16/08] JUICY ROM v1.1

Should I move from 1.09 to 1.1 now or stay at 1.09 until whenever a 2.0 comes out?

1.1 is much better than 1.09 IMO.

Re: [09/16/08] JUICY ROM v1.1

Installed 1.1. Very nice. One issue I've noticed, as others did: selecting multiple emails with pen or finger in the inbox or whatever doesn't work.

Keep up the good work!

Re: [09/16/08] JUICY ROM v1.1

Ugh its a pain flashing to a new ROM lol... just becuase I will lose all the apps I installed. and reinstalling them takes a while (mainly the maps to my gps and the gps itself), any way I can backup these things and have them put on automatically when I restore the backup?

I dont think spb backup does it

So I just downloaded 1.1 ... how do I upgrade?
Which .exe do I run from the folder?

enterbootloader.exe
rapitool.exe
RUUgetinfo.exe
or ROMupdateutility.exe
?

Re: [09/16/08] JUICY ROM v1.1

Am I blind or is Opera missing from 1.1?

Edit: I guess half and half. I can't see it in the Programs listing but it launched when I clicked on a link in my text message.

I keep a folder on my Internal Storage with all the applications I need to install on an upgrade, along with the registry keys. So when Juicy comes out with a juicy new ROM and I want to upgrade at work, I'm good to go.

I've also installed my GPS software onto my Internal storage. Worst case, I have to install the software again, but not the maps. I've flashed like 3 times (I'm a little more cautious than some, I guess), and I haven't had to touch the maps since the first install. I'm using Garmin XT.

Bascially what I do too. Except how do you backup the registry keys?

In fact after you flash a new ROM, Garmin basically asks you if you want to install. Cute lil Garmin.
