Re: How To: Unlocking, Relocking, and Flashing

Thanks for the info. I successfully unlocked it. (it had cmonex on the tri-color screen)

Now I'm trying to install Mighty Rom and I guess I'm lost on the "Drag the RUU_Signed.nbh file into the RUU folder" step? Not sure what to do there. I tried to run the ruu update utility and it came back with error 240: [file open].

Is it because I missed the step mentioned, or do I need to do something else? I have the MightyRom file on my desktop, does that need to be in the ruu folder.... I guess I'm a little lost here. Thanks for your guys help.

3.One objective for unlocking and adding ROM is to make my phone less laggy, which I'm sure will be accomplished. The MAIN goal though is to improve battery life, will MightyRom increase my battery life at all?

Thanks, I'm a noob and want to make sure this is done right. =)
well i was gonna answer, but...

Re: How To: Unlocking, Relocking, and Flashing

Can someone who is knowledgable in such things explain what PagePool is and how the different settings will effect a ROM?

I thought that this might be a good place to ask the question, rather than opening a new thread.
