something pretty basic, are you sure you have your nbh file called DIAMIMG.NBH on the root internal storage?

I really like how the Juicy 8 looked with the white flip clock but didnt know if the 8 would work on my sprint diamond

I currently am running Mighty Rom 4.6 and its nice but there are some things i dont like, the sprint white flip clock doesnt exactly work (highlight wont go away and wont retract)

Help please
I would go with calkulin These seem to be the best without being overloaded and run smoothly with little errors or anything. the best tf3d port with nothing going wrong is in the calkulin roms.

For some reason the downloads I got were corrupt. I flashed the ROM I wanted once I figured out what was going on.
are you trying to flash to a diamond rom instead of a pro rom? you are posting in the diamond upgrade section which leads me to believe you might be downloading the wrong rom for your phone. Try http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=68

(i see you are on sprint so i linked you to cdma)

Talking Re: How To's: Unlocking, Relocking, Flashing, Dumping and Troubleshooting

yay!! i successfully did my first hard reset/flash by myself with this tut.

I bought my friends new touch pro because he had it less then a month before he switched to the htc hero.

He had psyki rom on the phone, which i liked but when i called sprint to swap the phone to my account, it wouldnt work and the only thing everyone agreed on is that I would have to switch back to stock rom and THEN swap the phone, then i can go back to pyski if i want.

anyways, thankyou!!

Re: How To's: Unlocking, Relocking, Flashing, Dumping and Troubleshooting

I have a Nex-Tech HTC Touch Diamond. i am currently running the Mighty Rom 6. i would like to know which stock ROM will work for my phone, JUST IN CASE i need it in the future.

i did the Rom dump and saved it, in case i needed it in the future. if there isn't a stock rom for this company, is it possible for me to send the my ROM Dump to someone or easily make one myself?

Re: How To's: Unlocking, Relocking, Flashing, Dumping and Troubleshooting

Hi Guys!

I just bought a Touch Diamond and haven't activated with Sprint yet. I have a Centro for now.

Before I go ahead and activate the phone to my account could you guys point out the steps to do this right as I would like to unlock the phone for future ROM upgrades but I'm not sure if I do this before or after activating the Diamond on my Sprint account.

I just wanted to make sure I go by the book on this process.

Thanks a lot!

do not modify, unlock or anything to your phone before you activate it. Activate it first, insure it (if you're going to) then unlock it and flash a good rom

Thanks for your response!

I just reset the phone to factory settings...

It is a barely used phone that i bought form someone that switched carriers.

I'll be activating it as soon as I figure how to get my contacts from the Palm Centro to the Diamond.

I'll be back here for more info once these steps are done!

Thanks again!

no problem, if the person you got it from unlocked it and flashed a custom rom then you may want to flash back to shipped rom relock it, activate it, then unlock it again. if they never unlocked it then disregard.

Re: How To's: Unlocking, Relocking, Flashing, Dumping and Troubleshooting

I've just activated the phone today and to tell you the truth I'm a bit let down with the responsiveness on it when compared to my Palm Centro. I mean, it lags when touching sometimes, got a couple dropped calls when I usually never get them with the Palm..
I'll be reading more here and I'm sure you guys will suggest the best ROM to use so the phone would be at least as fast as the Centro when surfing the net and more responsive dealing with the flow menus.

Any suggestions for a ROM that would keep the main apps that came with the Sprint one, ie: Picture Mail, Fast 3G connection, GPS, Youtube, etc..?

ps: On the connection symbol it states EV 1X - Is that normal for a metropolitan area? Tampa Bay - FL?

Thanks!

Re: How To's: Unlocking, Relocking, Flashing, Dumping and Troubleshooting

Why can't we use the new 6.5 update released today by HTC on our Diamonds ?
Why does it have to be a Diamond 2 ??

M Drexler MD - I am not very pleased at all . None of our great attempts at flashing 30 different versions of 6.5 didn't workout without many problems . Why can't we use the real thing ????
