FORGOTTEN BUT NOT ABANDONED Reply
Sorry for the delay. Its been months since the last release (Thanskgiving was a long time ago). I'm sort of at a roadblock here, because I've got these few remaining bugs that I just can't fix; I'm too inexperienced and I need a more knowledgeable chef to help. I've bumped the OMJ kitchen thread numerous times, each time with no response.
I might just create a restore image that you can use with the included SPB Backup, but I personally like things to work the way you want them to right out of the box. Quote:
PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT Thanks for the feedback everyone. Remember, if you or someone you know is experienced in the OMJ kitchen, feel free to drop by at the OMJ Kitchen thread and see if you can figure out any of the difficult questions I've got with this ROM. I've done what I can over the months, but I'd really like to get this thing released. - 2 Bunny |

ITS THAT UPDATE TIME OF YEAR AGAIN Reply
UPDATE TIME AGAIN! ☺
Welcome back everyone, it has been a long time since the last release (sorry about that), and I knew I had to post an update before this thread got pushed too far down the list. I have had so much other stuff that has eaten up time, that Elite got put on the back burner for a while, but I am pleased to announce some changes that are taking place in the NEW RELEASE that is coming within the next one or two weeks (hopefully ☺). First of all, we are transferring back to the Caulkin 4.2 kitchen from the OMJ kitchen to speed things along and increase battery life. This solves several problems that I have been struggling with for months right off the bat. I'm still working on the default backlight settings and Manila Tabs order, but I think I'm at least somewhat close to a breakthrough on those. Speaking of Manila, the new ROMs will have Manila 2.1 instead of 2.5, which will reduce the load on the device and make the overall experience much less painful and generally far more "brisk". In keeping with my newly started tradition, these new ROMs will be Lite (105-110+ MB of Free space after flash), but usable right off the bat as well as efficient, fast, and easy on the battery life. I hope the coming months bring many new incredibly flexible upgrades even on the "obsolete", "aging" Diamond platform. I intend to continue to cook for Diamond as long as there are still people to download the ROMs. Thanks to everyone for your support everyone! I look forward to seeing the public response to the release ☺. - 2 Bunny Last edited by 2 Bunny; 04-02-2011 at 12:15 PM. |

SPECIAL RELEASE Reply
Elite
Well, I couldn't work out the backlight problem, but I couldn't withhold this much great ROM from the community, so without any more rambling, I bring the community: Elite Spring Break Prerelease Special (I know Spring Break is over, but it sounds cool ) - 2 Bunny Last edited by 2 Bunny; 04-14-2011 at 04:16 PM. |

Re: Elite Spring Break Special Prerelease | (4/11/2011)
pretty good, seems to have the best "speed" so far, and the only one updated into the new year :P
wish there was a good wm6.5 (not .5.5) like this... or wish i knew enough to take shit out/replace screens stuff like that...
