Odd, test extract works fine for me. I'll repackage and reupload nonetheless. Sorry!

EDIT: It's reuploaded, and the link has been updated in the OP. I downloaded it and tested with both WinRAR and 7-Zip with no issues.

It is just as you said, wvga but better than not at all. thanks much.

23557 fixes the sys issues from the previous 23554 around menu layers sticking around past their time.

Great ROM just got better because of this.

I'm still hoping for an fix to allow for the "+" symbol in phone numbers.

Yeah, still looking into this with no luck so far

Thanks for the great rom. I am enjoying the longest battery life I have since I bought the phone when it first came out. Just one question (not even a big deal)...is there a way we can set how long the phone has to be off before the lock screen comes on? ex: only put on the lock screen if the phone has been off for over 5 seconds.

Re: [4/13/10] cesium's ClearROM v1.5 [Sense 2.5 | 6.5.x | 23557]

Hmm I'm not sure if there's a way to set it to lock after a specific time. However, if you use a program like SmartLock, it can lock automatically when you turn off the screen.

Glad to hear that!

Just wondering if anyone has noticed any issues or has suggestions for the ROM. I finish exams next week, so I plan a solid update on Friday (4/30)! Trying to figure out what to add besides updating the sys and some other apps.

hey ive been running the rom for a few weeks now and I love it great work Im glad your rom was the first rom I chose with the diamond I just got. Hey if I could suggest maybe some kind of program to really get all of the temp files out of storage, maybe I am using cleanRam wrong but I dont seem to ever have enough memory lol. Also if its not to hard maybe a mp3 clipper, to keep ringtones down without having to size them on a pc. Hope those were some good suggestions and again Nice Work.

Re: [4/13/10] cesium's clearROM v1.5 [Sense 2.5 | 6.5.x | 23557]

cleartemp is a good program to clear the temp files. its only a few hundred kilobytes, so ill include that with the next update :)

for the mp3, there is mp3 trimmer but its pretty large and i absolutely never use it. Here's a link to a CAB of it so you can install yourself: http://rapidshare.com/files/11977080...P3_Trimmer.cab

I assume you are trying to add a hotmail account. In that case, you have to install Windows Live first: http://mobile.microsoft.com/live/En-...e/default.mspx

hey great work on 1.6 I like the many new changes and the extra customization tools, very nice, very nice. I was also curious now that your orange sand background is cooked into the start menu and such could you include a seperate file so we can use it as a main background if we like:o) thanks

Is there a way to tell besides the taskbar? I am not 100% sure how to see if data is always on or not.

Thanks for the feedback, always great to hear! :) Is there anything you'd like to see changed (aesthetic mods, apps, etc)?

I just wanted to let you know that google maps doesnt want to use voice commands, im not sure if that is just cuase its new or if its not working properly with your rom. I also noticed that if you hold the home button some times in google maps it turns the whole manilia gui to landscape and sticks, it works but I couldnt get it to switch back but otherwise alot faster and great new editions.

Re: [4/25/10] cesium's clearROM v1.6 [Sense 2.5 | 6.5.x | 23653]

I don't cook in Voice Command, so that might be the cause.

Regarding the landscape, I think you might accidentally be holding the call button underneath the home key. That is set to hold to rotate.

Re: [4/25/10] cesium's clearROM v1.6 [Sense 2.5 | 6.5.x | 23563]

I think the plus code dialing thing isn't related to this ROM - it appears to be affecting anyone on the 236xx platform.

There's a thread from 2008 which claims to help, but it doesn't appear to fix anything by switching dialing codes.

HKLM\Software\OEM\PhoneSetting\PlusCodeDialing

I've played with PlusCodeEnable, PlusCodeNumber, ResetNumber but without success.

I got voice to work... instead of using "hang up" like the picture says, try tapping "pick up".

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been out of town. The new SYS builds don't really have any improvements over 23563, so I'm waiting for something interesting before updating.

Re: [5/21/10] cesium's clearROM v1.7 [Sense 2.5 | 6.5.x | 23563]

clearROM 1.7 Full and Light have been uploaded!

This is primarily a cosmetic update.

What has changed since 1.6:

Quote:

Added - Custom Blue Mail email notification orb & Calendar Accents
Added - Bing (has turn-by-turn navigation!) [Full only]
Added - Kinetic scrolling in Start Menu from WM6.5
Changed - Start Menu Icons (thanks lechux)
I did not update the SYS as I have found no advantage in speed or features in 23566/8/9 versus 23563. Additionally, 23569 gave me some random problems with SOD that I did not experience with 23563, so no reason to 'fix' something that isn't broken.

I have this happen to me randomly...with various ROMS. Don't know if it's our phones or the ROMS themselves. But usually happens when it's on the Messaging Screen Tab

I've had pretty good luck with the last two builds not suffering from the sleep of death (as it's called). Honestly I'm not sure what causes it, whether it is the ROM, the phone, or a combination of both. I've had no luck in narrowing it down, and as AcuraTLSFan said, I personally have experienced the issue on multiple ROMs from other chefs as well.

Re: [5/21/10] cesium's clearROM v1.7 [Sense 2.5 | 6.5.x | 23563]

So this is easily the most reliable, fastest rom I have used yet for daily function, however I have hit some major instability issues when it comes to GPS related use.

It seems like the GPS is not accurate, and sometimes completely unreliable. Further, the phone resets a lot when trying to use various GPS enabled programs.

If anyone here does geocaching here, what program are you successfully using? I use GCzII to find the cache, but I don't have any reliable program for entering in coordinates for multi-caches.

Also, is there a way to enable satellite imagery on this version of google maps?
