After all the fun I've had with Sashimi on other ROM's (for my Touch Pro2) with Win 6.5.x, I'm curious is this Sashimi is stock (Benghali 8.0) or modified to deal with 6.5.x and the interface changes.

thanks

By keypad I mean the standard dialer keypad w/ the letters...

Yea that is causing your problem. Only the ezinput cabs need to be installed to device memory or else your phone wont boot. and yes it has the compact qwerty, phone keypad, and full qwerty keyboards.

Yes it works perfect with the 6.5.x sys.

You might want to check this out.

They keep it updated pretty regularly, and it easily installs and configures Android 2.1 for the Diamond with either regular settings or overclocked. Everything's good to go, and they include a zip or cab.

Thanks for this. I use to follow that thread before they released anything but I stopped after awhile.

Looks like everything is working well w/ the latest ROM. One question.. If I hit the power button to shut the phone off and throw it into my pocket it now has what I am guessing is a slide lock type device enabled (bar running left to right that you drag to the bottom of the screen) now is this right or is this some odd bug in my phone?

Sounds like the manila lock. You can change it if you like or disable it in the cht editor under lockscreen settings

I don't know, but I think the phone canvas is wrong or something.
When I receive an incoming call, the phone canvas is too low for me to slide to answer/end. So I answered with the call button. After I answered with the call button, it is still too low. I can't see the talk or end call buttons on the screen.

This happens sometimes. Just soft reset.

Interesting, I think I will just keep it on as I did originally want a lock when I shut off the phone I just never knew one was available :P BTW that keyboard works flawlessly, I officially have a ROM that makes this phone enjoyable!
