What ROM are you using? I don't know of any activesync issues in my latest ROMs and I dont use activesync so I can't give you an accurate answer. Secondly, Have you tried using quick GPS?



Edit: Uploading Original ROMs with cookie home tab v.1.7.1. Both 23563 and 21901. I am very pleased with the speed of these ROMs. Also will be updating the SASHIMI folder.

23563,21901, and A few cabs to put in your sashimi folder" Sashimi add-ons v.1" Uploaded. Will upload themed ROMs tomorrow.

I seem to be having these 3 problems at the moment, is there a known fix for this? Tried a hard reset..

1. Cannot open the album from the pictures tab or the start menu. when I try from the start menu it says "HTCAlbum is not a valid Pocket PC application.
2. Cannot add a new contact, does nothing when I press this within the contact menu.
3. Can't add a new appt. to the calendar.

I am using the April 2_23547 Sense UI and went through several different keyboards while trying to find one that yielded what I want. I am currently running the ezinput 2.0 that was provided a page or 2 back, the 2.1 was installed at one point and it wont let me completely uninstall it for whatever reason.

The reason I ask is because that cab causes the problems that you mentioned. You might want to update to todays ROM.

I have all my settings and everything working perfectly on this one as of today lol, I hate to dump it and start over... May have to do that tomorrow. Do you have a compact qwerty or qwerty dialpad included with the latest rom?

For the latest ROM, what is the boot-up memory available on the Diamond? Always a concern with this device.

EDIT - Looking at the latest 6.5.x Sense ROM

yea i know that feeling but no i dnt cook keyboards in because you can install via cab with sashimi automatically. The diamond ezinput 1.5 cab works perfect. Maybe it will work better for you once you update. Be sure to install it to device memory and not internal storage.

Hmm I have not been installing any of the keyboards to 'device memory' is this where my issue is? Will the ezinput 1.5 include both styles of keyboards I am wanting? I really just want the keypad qwerty more than anything....

By keypad I mean the standard dialer keypad w/ the letters...
