Hey, i just wanted to throw this in as it hasnt really been addressed as far as ive seen.

the issue with syncing contacts using activesync/gmail has come up several times in this thread, as well as when i attempted doing this.
When i tried syncing while in WM it gave me an error code that i looked up. Somewhere, yahoo answers maybe, someone gave me the solution to uncheck the "tasks" box when choosing what you want synced, such as contacts, calendar, etc. After unchecking that box it synced perfectly right away.

After running Android for a couple hours that morning i went back to WM and noticed that my hotmail/windows live wasnt syncing properly anymore. After going in and deleting the sync settings for gmail i was able to receive hotmail "as items arrive" again. My contacts in Android remained intact after removing the activesync settings for it.

Now, i think im still using the 2-4-10 build of android, because i am too chicken to mess with new builds and what not on my own. But everything is smooth, nearly ready for everyday use. However after running it for a while my phone gets hot enough to cook food on.

have u given up on the 6.5 roms? dont like the fact that u lose thehtc volume control on the 6.5.x ones.

Yeah, that is a down side. But, I use S2U2 and it has its own volume control that hooks the volume keys and takes over the windows volume control. Plus it looks and works pretty much like the HTC volume control so I'm pretty satisfied with it.

I just installed the new version.

My question, is why is there no Task Manager. I can't see what programs are running, every time I minimize a program, I have to go find it in the start menu again. I don't like that. Is that how it's suppose to be, or did I do something wrong.

I am using 6.5.x of course. Windows Generic.

Also where is the Youtube application, and is there away I can edit my start menu, remove/change/etc files and folders that show there?

To get to the task manager you have to tap the top right corner of the taskbar where the time shows. That is the only way. Youtube is found inside the multimedia folder in the start menu. And on your start menu question, you will have to use a program preferably ReStart. Search over at XDA and you will find it and how to use it

Wow, I clicked on the clock before and it didn't work. Worked this time, must of been hitting it wrong. Nice new task manager.

I do not see Youtube in the Multimedia folder, is it on all your ROMs? And thanks, I will check restart out.

Yea it only opens usually when a program is running , but youtube should be in there. I do have it in all my ROMs unless i accidently left it out but here is a cab until i can update.

quick note -- I presume the android 2/10/2010 package doesn't need to contain 'Android-2-8-2010.rar'. I thought the DL was suspiciously large.
