Re: Canceling VZW question
Phone will have bad esn if you report it stolen or lost.
It will come off the system once you call to wipe it clean or after a year or so (i can be wrong about the second one) If you cancel, you will have clean esn phone. Be careful though... those etf are pain in the arse. I hope it helped any. |

Re: Canceling VZW question
i am planning on doing the same this week. why are the etfs a pain?(besides being rediculously expensive) i also have 2 lines but was told that i could work out a payment plan for the etf. i want to sell my phone after i cancel but i'm not sure about the esn thing either. i think i might activate a different phone onto my account before i cancel, that way it's surely cleared.

Re: Canceling VZW question
Now I thought the ETF for VZW was 175 per line, but if it went up, it ain't no news to me.

Re: Canceling VZW question
i'm following this because i've been curious about this. i have 3 lines on one account but if i wanted to cancel, do i pay $600 or $200? it's 3 lines but one account and i thought the account was charged but not the line.

Re: Canceling VZW question
ETFs are per line as stated in the details of your agreement for service (commonly called contracts). For former Alltel customers like Cassith and myself, we are obliged to wait until it is up for two years or pay $200.
