Cricket coverage in NE USA

Hey was just wondering if anyone uses cricket here in the North East of the United States. Im from Pennsylvania and sick of paying such a high fee for my cell service with VERIZON. I was thinking of flashing my omnia I910 to use with CRICKET. There's no Cricket stores in my area so I cant ask any workers or test a phone. Their website says theres coverage everywhere. Would like to pay 50 dollars for everyting instead of 100.

Any feedback?

Sister in law is in Cranberry township just outside of Pittsburgh.

She never has issues with coverage. The only time she did was when she used a regional plan and she traveled outside of her region.

What about Metro PCS? I think they offer a $40 a month plan. Don't know anyone who has used it though.

Metro is big here, if you are in the city then it is fine (for voice).

can you use a touch pro or a blackberry with cricket? What do you mean flash the phone to use with it?

Re: Cricket coverage in NE USA

You have to have the phone flashed onto the Metro Network if that's what your referring to. I am not sure how it works, but I think you have to go into a store to have it done. I am sure a good search will net you the info around here.
